There's nothing like vintage.

I love everything that's vintage. But watches are special to me. Do you agree that vintage watches are a great way to feel like you live in the 60's or 70's?

this is my most special watch. It was given to me by my grandad. I was born in 1998 but I feel nostalgic about that era ahah
I was born in the 60's and grew up in the 70's. The only mechanical watch I own is an Air Force issue Hamilton GG-W-113. When I wear it, I enjoy starting the work day setting the time, if necessary, and winding the watch. Not necessarily better than my quartz watch but sufficient for my needs and a pleasure to wear. http://www.broadarrow.net/ggw113.htm Kind of like the feeling I get from a Zippo lighter, a Victorinox SAK, Ray-Ban sun glasses, and a Merkur double edge safety razor.
Dude, I am totally in line with you! I don't know if watches make me feel a 70's vibe, but almost all of my watches remind of the past, and looking to the future. I don't have a lot of vintage pieces per se', but I do love this little Buren from the 1960's
