Best Canning System???

I'm interested in getting started into the world of canning/preserving/etc. I don't have any of the tools needed (I don't think), so thought this would be a fantastic place to start. What canners does everyone use? Pressure canning? Water bath canning? What else is there? If we can get some consensus, perhaps we can request a drop!! Thanks in advance!!

Highly recommend Wisconsin Aluminum canners. They're price stability is a bit shaky but they're overall good product. We can and pressure cook each year with them.

I go low-tech with a water bath. Nothing fancy, just my big pasta pot full of water. I'd be interested in learning about other people's setups for pressure canning, though. I've never gone there.
