Massdrop needs a collab with Grado

more_vert
They've done it with AKG, Sennheiser, Hifimann. It's time for a Grado X Massdrop . Maybe an SR series with alternative wood cups instead of plastic / aluminum.

Thoughts?

Maybe with a dual-ended, detachable 3.5mm cable?

Spot on, and it would be about time.

I would be interested in it if they improve and replace the crappy hard foam ear pads and headband adjustment Grado uses.

I'd love to see this. Would be a great excuse to replace my old SR80i headphones. They mostly sit in storage as a back up pair of headphones.

I think all the other headphone manufacturers colluded to prevent everyone discovering the secret of Grado's. I get that not everyone gets their sound-stage and they don't win any points for fashion or comfort. I've had every other major brand, but I keep coming back to my Grado's.

That would surely be interesting! Even the lower-tier headphones would be nice to see here and I think they would attract new users to the community.

That would be really nice if there's a massdrop x grado version for perhaps SR325!

I'd like to see a MD X Grado collab to sort mimic the likes of Alessandro Music Two or Pro, but with a lower entry price point. I LOVE my SR125e's, which I picked up retail last year. The upgrade to the L Cush makes them even sweeter to wear and enjoy listening.

I'm rather surprised this hasn't happened yet.
