LMAONAISEIs that a Define Nano S? And even if not, is that a fractal? Please elaborate on those mods!
Love the variety of cans you got there

bjvp182Yes it's a define s nano, I painted the inside white and added the top window, also acrylic on the psu. I'll link you to the build specs and other photos.

Edit: I will expand that it gets a bit hot, the clearance for the GPU is very very narrow, use a blower style card, this one is out of my old rig and is fine for most games but ark plus a 5.0ghz clock on the CPU makes for a hot case under load.

LMAONAISESplendid I will have to plan mine out a bit, I will be doing a custom water loop CPU GPU inclusive so I won't have to worry about the GPU fan style. Prolly going with zotac 1080ti to save space for either bigger res or thicker rad. How did you paint the inside? Tape and spray? Or by hand brush?

bjvp182reply a year later - Did all my cutting and grinding with a dremel tool, had to remove the mesh. Scuffed the areas I wanted to paint with a green or black rough scrub pad, you can probably use the green of a new kitchen sponge (new and dry or it wont cut). Taped, light coats one at a time. I did not paint the inside of the door or ceiling however.

LMAONAISENice I been heavily considering just wasting money on that NZXT AIO and retrofitting it to a custom loop because i just love the look of that cpu block. I even sent an email to NZXT if they sold it separately lol. Maybe if I can find a used one that maybe has a broken res or something.

bjvp182It can't be very hard to re-purpose one, it's just plumbing after all. Ive seen some good tear down videos but I don't think they were going to reassemble it. How about making a cover for an existing aio using an led ring light? That's probably the safest/cheapest route assuming you already have an aio cooler. Eg. https://www.amazon.ca/EverBright-Multi-Color-Headlight-Daytime-Control-12V/dp/B019C7LZ0U

LMAONAISEMost likely the route I'll have to take. A simple addressable RGB ring, maybe a frosted plexi ring on the ring to soften the look like nzxt, and a simple dual mirror enclosure. If I had a CNC machine, I could possibly even just fashion a whole enclosure to retrofit on a cheap reliable block. I wanted to also do this with the from panel of my Nano S. Since I saw it on that one inwin case I was like "i want that look!"

bjvp182Ooooo that's really pretty. If you have access to a 3d printer or are willing to use shapeways you can get a nice precise cover made for the ring light, using a clear or white filament should let light pass through really easy but diffused. You'd can design it on something simple like tinkercad.

LMAONAISEOh hell yea. I had forgotten that those exist now lol And once I get the block I can easily plug in the measurements to have it fit right on it! Good idea!

bjvp182Best of luck, I got my printer (creality cr-10) about 6 months ago and have made a lot of fun things, but also simple models that are useful. Most recently fixed the spot on my vacuum where the hose connects, I cant buy the part so short of PVC and duct-tape there is no elegant solution, made the model in tinkercad with no prior modelling experience and it works flawlessly. Headphone hangars, magnetic tool holders, rocket league trophy for a lan party are few of the other things I've printed... it's a great hobby and pushed me to start learning 3ds Max (which I'm currently trudging along through tutorials of :/).
Best of luck
