Xavi1How do you run your iPad through your Amp/Dac? I have been attempting a similar set up with my phone istead of a computer.
My phone is a OnePlus 6 and I'm trying to run usb-c from the phone to the micro USB port on my LCX, but my phone will just play the audio through it's speakers and will not throughput the data to the amp.
Extremely annoying as it works fine on the USB to micro USB cable connecting my laptop to the LCX

Xavi1what are your views on the shiit jotunheim .Can it power most of your headphones? I was thinking about buying it but have heard that shiit is quite polarizing and now am unsure

AzeendeenWell I have several Headphone amps including tube headphone  amps (darkvoice) and intergraded amps with Headphone jacks and this unit give me the best cleanest neutral sound so I can demo and experience the true workmanship of all my headphones including ear buds and the  ones  with XLR connections upgrades. I always start with shitt first, then, Once this is done then I can always mess with my tube amps or whatever but I know what Im supposed to reference by using the Jotumhiem  first.  Mine also has the DAC feature  with blanace XLR ins and outs for long runs. It does has its bass heavy signature on the output to an amp in a stereo system (a bit bass heavy) but that's not a bad thing. The DAC is quite good  but I do suggest a separate DAC on any system. Hope this helps but again its all personal to you. Experiment and choose. They have a return policy but its such a versatile unit I will keep mine forever probably.

AzeendeenJust go get an emotiva A-100 and an ifi one nano. It’s more your budget. audiophile equipment does not seem to be up your alley as far as affordability. you will pay a lot more for audiophile quality products and you will get much much better quality and enjoyment but it’s not for everyone so it seems from your comment you should stay way away from audiophile equipment. you can get a good Toyota sports car on a beer budget but not a Porsche Carrera they will both get you to work but only one in style and maximum comfort good luck
