Patek Goes Colorful

more_vert
I like it, despite all the haters in the Hodinkee comment section (which is all there seems to be these days). Can't say I would make it a priority if I were going to spend $35k on a watch, but I do like the green. https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/patek-philippe-aquanaut-5168g-010-khaki-green-photos

well I do agree that the Hodinkee section has gotten full of trolls/new people so I don't remember ,being a commenter for a couple years now, (although been reading hodinkee since yr 1) if this is a new thing, annual thing etc. And lets not get started on the comments for GS and their watches, holy dude, the old traditonal rich guys come out and trash them, its like they cant imagine a better watch maker than peeps from Valle Joux. If PP priced it around 20k, I'd be like, yea thats a solid buy for a PP, and even then it'd still be over priced compared to your standard rolex SS/tool watches in general. ::shrug::
OnePunchManYeah, we definitely agree on that. Patek obviously has the pedigree and history, but a 35k sport watch is a 35k sport watch - hard to justify no matter how you slice it.
