There's this friend of mine who has a fountain pen, and he lets me use it sometimes, but that's about all my experience with fountain pens. I'd really like to get more into it.

MarodimYour friend really shouldn't be letting you use his fp. Fp nibs are flexible and get tempered to the individual writing style of the user. A good starter fp is probably the pilot varsity disposable. You should find out what breadth nib suits your writing style and paper. If you want a refillable, any of the lamy fps are great. Jetpens.com is a good site.

MarodimI started pretty recently. Now I spend 5 minutes every morning working on my alphabet and general handwriting like I'm in kindergarten! Haha. It's improved my writing a ton.
