MagicForce 68 and Keyboard Paradise V60 are in those price ranges with MX Cherry Brown. Alu case would not be possible at that price point, but you could upgrade a V60 after market as time and budget permit. MagicForce would require you to swap the ALT/WIN keys in OSX, but the V60 has a dip switch on the bottom that does the same thing. I own both and they are very nice entry level boards.

How do you do per-key RGB lighting on a Shift V2?
I saw the online configurator that lets you do this on the Shift V1, where it spits out a compiled firmware file to flash. The V2 doesn't seem to have this function in the Windows configurator, though. I can't imagine the answer here is "you're going to have to manually write the hex for every key in QMK, compile it, and flash that".

ALT V2 not detected with Drop Keyboard Configurator
Hi, This is my first non-mac keyboard. I was under the impression that this would work out of box with with mac desktop however I am having issues getting the ALT V2 detected with the keyboard configurator software. The keyboard is plugged in and powered on. Apologies if this is very basic or if I have used incorrect language describing my issue, I don't have experience with this. Thank you

I've been looking for a keyboard lately. The best one that I came across was the new poker II. Although it being a solid bet, i would like to hear your recommendations on other keyboards.
I would prefer a keyboard about 100$ (or below), cherry mx browns, good compatibility with mac os, nice looks, 60% or 75%, aluminum case (i know that it might be hard on that price point, but it's not a must-have for me).
I would greatly appreciate all the suggestions because I'm kind of a keyboard normie.
