Hello, I just joined, primarily for the audiophile products. Looking at purchasing the NHT C3 speakers for our new living room. Space is about 15 feet wide by 33 long and they will fire long ways. Space is just for general listening, music room with all equipment is downstairs, so hoping they will fill it with sound nicely. Cheers.

I am not sure I understand the difference between AD2P SRC and SNK, but I did notice that the Echo has an 3.5mm audio out jack. Would it not be possible to connect that to a DAC/AMP? The setup I'm currently looking at from Monoprice does support Bluetooth, however.
1) Use the 3.5mm aux out to powered monitors 2) Use the bluetooth connection to a dongle or bluetooth capable stereo receiver with passive speakers (can also use the 3.5mm aux out via patch cable) 3) Use the bluetooth connection directly to a set of powered monitors that accept bluetooth
If the Dot will be your only source then I would go with #1, if you have other things to connect I would go with #2. If you hate wires and have other bluetooth sources I would go #3
