There Are Pandas, and Then There Are Pandas.
And this isn't either of them! The Pandas we're talking about here, are watches, not bears. And what got me thinking about them (again) was a link posted this morning by @cm.rook who pointed a few of us to the very attractive (and not terribly priced) Yema "Rallygraph" Panda which, in it's most traditional arrangement, looks like the one on the left, but can also be had in the version on the right: The model on the left is a true Panda, while the model on the right is called a reverse Panda. What would you hope to gain from separating Knives from EDC? For example, do you want more knife drops and think that a separate community would support that? Are you looking for more specialized knives, or custom knives in the $750 to $2500 range? Do you think it would bring more enthusiast members to the site?
Before we had a Talk section to discuss things like this, a poll was created for exactly this reason: https://www.massdrop.com/vote/How-about-an-own-community-on-knives
We'll keep an eye on this thread and also the poll, I'm really interested to hear what you would hope to gain by giving knives its own community. Thanks for the suggestion!
I'm talking about the tactical knives and nice EDC knives like 80-200+ Emerson RealSteel,Proelia Zero Tolerance Spyderco Benchmade Kizer Lionsteel etc
