Gateron's have garnered a very positive reputation in the past year, and with how low the entry level price-point can be, it would seem you've made an excellent choice. I personally haven't had the pleasure of typing on Gateron Blues, but other Gateron switches. Here's to hoping that your first impression of Mechanical Keyboards, and Gateron switches, is a very pleasant one.

perfectd3I went for the clears because every mx switch ive used so far has had a tactile bump, so i wanted a smooth linear switch, and so many massdrop reviewers raved about gaterons in general, so i went for it. :)

UrVAITguyI'm still waiting for my 1976 set to arrive next month. The image above is one of the beautiful photos included on the product page for MassDrop, but they will be put on either my incoming Magicforce with Gateron Browns, or my current VA87MR. :)

So I am not sure what version of the ID80 this is, but given that its is per key white LED and it has a gasket mount with center positioned brass weight, this has the latest case updates but a V2 PCB. Is this correct?

ALT V2 not detected with Drop Keyboard Configurator
Hi, This is my first non-mac keyboard. I was under the impression that this would work out of box with with mac desktop however I am having issues getting the ALT V2 detected with the keyboard configurator software. The keyboard is plugged in and powered on. Apologies if this is very basic or if I have used incorrect language describing my issue, I don't have experience with this. Thank you

I saw it on reddit and decided that it was going to happen. and I needed it in my life.
I plan on adding a set of OverCast and a nice full wood case with a wrist wrest built in (not sure on the wood type yet. Any ideas?). I also plan on getting a set of 1976 when it re-drops and maybe the chocolate factory set. I hope it will look something like the picture you have up there.
But I don't have any story to share about how I got into mechanical keyboards. Attest not any good ones.
