I have a Marathon field watch with H3 lume pretty much just for wearing in bed. I have bad eyes and don't easily read my alarm clock unless I lean close. I can read the time on my wrist no problem though. I have done that (with several different watches) for 20 years or so. Every once in a while I will change-up with some other watch that has strong lume, but the Marathon easily is worn 300+ nights out of each year.

BF_HammerI never thought of that -- a tritium watch for sleeping. I wonder what the cheapest one is -- tritium always seems to be a pricey upgrade.

CloacaThere have been a few drops this year for Armourlite watches with tritium lume. But if you search Amazon right now with "tritium watch" there will be a lot of good hits. There are several made-up-brand-name Chinese watches with the H3 vials for under $100. Smith and Wesson branded watches are another option for the $100-$200 range. They have been sold for over 15 years. Marathon has moved to the expensive end at $200 or more for the nylon-case watches. Traser is at that $300+ range too, just below Luminox.

BF_HammerThanks! I see there is an Armourlite drop right now. I've avoided those because they are quartz, but for a sleep watch, maybe quartz is best, always accurate, no need to set the watch more than once a month or more.

BF_HammerI'm trying to find something that isn't "tacktical." This isn't bad at first sight, a smallish fleiger for $76:

Special bonus: The brand is "Lad Weather." They're not even trying!
But the tritium is only at 12, 3, 6, and 9. I know from experience that my ability to tell time diminishes with fatigue, so idealiy I want all the hours tritiumized. Those tritium tubes must be expensive, since a lot of these watches only have the hands and four numbers done.
Here's a funny one, a blackout design with tritium, cannot be read in the light but can be read in the dark!

CloacaIf you really want tritium, get the Aragon Parma. Here is my watch and a lume shot. It has a total of 31 tritium tubes. It is big at 48mm.

CloacaI sometimes sleep with a Timex Weekender and it's quartz movement is surprisingly loud - to the point where it I had to take it off. Indiglo is super convenient tho.

PetrosDHoly cow! The number font is specifically designed to be tritiumized! And the big watch is named after a giant Prosciutto.

c0rneliusFortunately I'm at the age where not only my vision but my hearing is not what it used to be. Ticking watches? Bring it on! My wife may feel differently.

BF_HammerThe glow version overdoes it with 80 tritium tubes!

Plus Luminova on the bezel for good measure. $1,600 on eBay.
I would think that the market would be there for "tritium polygons" if someone wanted to go up against that Swiss company that makes the tubes.
These watches appear to incoporate a stealth chronometer, operated by a tiny button adjacent to the crown. I wonder how that works.
