There Are Pandas, and Then There Are Pandas.
And this isn't either of them! The Pandas we're talking about here, are watches, not bears. And what got me thinking about them (again) was a link posted this morning by @cm.rook who pointed a few of us to the very attractive (and not terribly priced) Yema "Rallygraph" Panda which, in it's most traditional arrangement, looks like the one on the left, but can also be had in the version on the right: The model on the left is a true Panda, while the model on the right is called a reverse Panda. In the Cooking Community, one of the most popular product categories is kitchen knives so we want to create a poll specifically about what the community thinks are the Top Kitchen Knives Under $150.
HOW IT WORKS
• We’ve created a poll for the Top Kitchen Knives Under $150
• Feel free to add your own option (inappropriate/irrelevant additions will be removed)
• Tell us in the discussion below why you think your choice is the best
• We’ll close the poll this Friday, November 3rd at 11:59PM PST
• We’ll update this talk post with the final results
• We’ll do our best to source the winning product
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT? Whenever a poll or product gets a lot of love and votes from the community, we do our best to make it available, and when we do, we give credit back to the community members that made them possible. See the examples below of how we amend our pages to bring it all full circle.
EXAMPLE - Updated Poll Page When we’re able to source a product encouraged by a poll, we update the poll to let everyone know it’s available and give full credit to the community member that started it.
EXAMPLE - Updated Drop Page Watch out for this banner on drop pages. We add these to drops that have been sourced based on interest gained from polls, again giving full credit to the community member who started it.
