I have one quartz that I was thinking of getting rid of, but it occurred to me that it's useful to have one quartz watch so you have a go-to watch for when you're running out the door to an important appointment and you don't have time to set your watch, or you otherwise just need to be sure you know the correct time. I can't count the number of times that I've put on an automatic and then realized that the time shown bears no relation to reality.
But the price difference in this case is about $650, so if you want the automatic, maybe you should wait.

CloacaHi Cloaca, Danothemacman, allow me to add my 2 cents. $650 less than ? is still substantial money. Realize quartz watches are INCREDIBLY overpriced. You are paying exorbitantly for the name, not additional quality. The movements are dirt cheap and with the advent of CNC manufacturing there isn't a quartz watch worth over $100 unless it's using precious metals etc. I own several quartz watches made by a microbrand that uses the finest case and bracelet manufacturing protocols, bar None, and powers them with the new SEIKO VH6X series quartz movement. These are the best quartz mvmnts on the market imho as they are sweep mvmnts. They look like automatics, not like the typical 1 second clunk of most all others. Those watches list for $150-175 and on a sale day can be had for well below $100. These are hefty all 316L SS construction made to tolerances of Swiss watches costing 10-20X more, using the precision of CNC manufacturing. Just my thoughts, best of luck getting the watch you really want!

GugliermoHi Gugliermo, do you have a link/name of that microbrand that you mention using the VH6X movement?
Cheers!

GugliermoI'm in the U.S. for the first time in quite a while, clicking through the 500 channels on television, and I've come across two or three shopping channels devoted to nothing but Invicta watches.

GugliermoIs Discount Watch Store legit? They have some great deals on Glycine, cheaper than anywhere else on items, some discontinued, but not so cheap as to be completely unbelievable. Although they do have some Glycine-labeled watches that don't even fit into any current collection at Glycine.
Edit: Wait, is this just another Jomashop outlet? The search interface looks pretty identical.
Edit 2: It's SWI, which was affiliated with that Invite-owned website that went belly up and was bought by Jomashop. So lots of pre-Joma complaints, but those should not apply now.

CloacaWelcome to the Madhouse! (-; I gave up television in the mid nineties, it got to be too much trying to raise kids. I understand that Aragon is also on sale every once in a while on TV buying channels but would not know for sure. Enjoy your stay in "the new world" and enjoy the bargains, It's Black Friday Madness here..(-;

CloacaIndeed, way outside of my parameters...I am more inclined towards Aragon's modest and simpler lines. I'm loving the Fusion I got a few weeks ago. 44mm X 11mm . Screw down crown and 200meters WR. The more I look at it the more I like it.
