So what do YOU actually use a "camping" knife for? Are you a bushcraft guy who is processing firewood and building a shelter from scratch with his knife? Just a regular Joe who goes camping and wants to have a knife with him for some food prep and maybe cutting some cord for hanging something up?
Give me two things. The most common uses you envision this knife doing, and a budget range. Then I can help you. Budget range doesn't have to be exact, 0-100, 100-200, 0-200. Knives can get really really ridiculously expensive.

reecemisterEsee 6 Fallkniven F1 TOPS Brothers of Bushcraft Becker BK7 Helle Eggen
The Fallkniven A1Z is going for $149.99 right now. https://www.massdrop.com/buy/fallkniven-fk-a1z-a1
It is a well respected knife.
You could also consider a nice folding knife for around $100 and a decent small axe for $50 ish. Knife for slicing, axe for heavy work.

namhodAll excellent choices. I went back and forth looking at the ESEE 4, 5, and 6 and ended up going with the 4 after really asking myself what I needed and what would suit those needs the best. Fact is, I wouldn't carry the 5 or the 6 everywhere, and the best knife in the world is the one you have with you.
That said, any of the knives listed can be used hard, picked up from your dead, skeletal hand and used hard again by whoever finds it well into the future. Can't go wrong.

XymnslotI would go Esee 6 over the 5. The 6 is lighter and longer, the 5 purposely over built so it can be hammered through aircraft fuselage. The 6 os way more suited for all around camp jobs.
Really the 4 is all you need though. You can process wood just fine with it. I have a Rat 5 and it is just absurd. Looking back I wish i went with a 6.

namhodNice list here. The Fallkniven F1 is the only one i haven't personally owned nor used on here. I would add that for hard use i would much rather go with any of the other 3 options over the Helle. To my knowledge the Eggen like most of their knives tapers a by about 2/3s into the handle, even though they are full tangs. Personally of these 5 the tops B.O.B. is without question the best option(though as i said i have no experience with the F1)
And another option in the $150 price range i could recommend is the Benchmade Bushcrafter, though it retails around $180 you can get it right at $150 with a little patience on a site like eBay. Just make sure it's from a trusted seller.
And 2 higher dollar knives that are without question my favorite 2 i have ever used for camping/ bushcrafting is the spyderco bushcrafter and the bark river bushcrafter 2. (I should have replied to reecemister but I'm new to posting on here and i wanted to compliment your list)
Edited: one more recommendation that you can scoop up right now for $80 is a limited run Ontario Tak 5 from knifecenter. Only 500 were made and comes with a certificate of authenticity and a serialized number on the blade... not that that matters much since it will be heavily used, but i thought others may be interested as well before they are sold out. A really cool knife for $80.

BloodiedAnd to those recommending the moras all are absolutely correct. For the money they are near impossible to beat, and there are many options with ever so Slight differences to choose from. Just for a example I use a pro c for all of my camp cooking when in the woods.
