Minase Watches

more_vert
I was watching a television show in which a celebrity was wandering around Kichijoji in Tokyo, and he walked into a watch retailer, Handa Watch World, apparently a chain, and the staff educated him on hand-winders and automatic watches. In the process they introduced him to a Japanese brand that I had never heard of, Minase, originally a machine shop that made cases for Seiko, or something like that. I don't know what movements they use, and I haven't looked into it any further other than to dig up the relevant web pages:

Added: They use a Swiss ébauche that they modify and decorate, but they don't say who makes it.

I just read an article about the brand. It is very interesting new brand. Based on their international web site, they use ETA automatic movement for most of the collections. The 7 Windows is using in house movement. The more I read about it, the more I want one of their watch.
