Pardon the laziness of my Freedom Gundam Metal Build (which come pre-assembled).
My first Gundam model kit was the original MG Zeta many years ago. I didn't know about cleaning up the nub marks, panel lining, painting when I put it together. Since then, I've picked up an MG RX-178 Titans v1 and MG Astray Blue Frame promising myself I'd do a less-casual build. That promise has been a bit of a burden; both are still sealed in the box.
With the arrival of Gunpla at Massdrop though, the excitement is back for me. Last Friday after work, @henry_l, @kaz, and I ventured out to a hobby shop in Chinatown to check out some Gunpla in-person. I picked up an MG Exia kit that I hope to share with you all soon.
But until then...

timechange@timechange: sadly, I have no experience painting or detailing. The Metal Build Freedom Gundam in my photo looks like that right out of the box.
