I DO focus on quilting and that is the only community to which I subscribe. BUT and it's a VERY BIG BUT even on Black Friday weekend the MASSDROP new product email contained 23 off topic drops for knives and other weapons and only 2 quilting items. I would be very happy just to have seen the two quilting items without the items designed to hurt people knives, throwing star tornadoes, pens made from bullets. Come on, please. I understand that a company needs to upsale, but your own research demonstrates how many quilters are focused on quilting. You wouldn't have a quilting community if you did not know that QUILTERS SPEND MONEY ON QUILTING THINGS AND FABRIC. Just a guess here, but I think that if you asked the quilting community outright---Do you want to spend money on knives to gut animals? They might say, "No!"

Labrador-MomThis comment is pretty old but.. I think you are VERY misguided about what people who collect knives use them for. Either display or practical applications, maybe self defense, most of the knives on here are not used to "gut animals" and most people who buy knives aren't using them for senseless violence.

BlueCrownedMy issue is not with weapon collections. I only subscribe to the quilting group. My goal is to have fewer, shorter, and more appropriate emails perhaps showing the daily quilting drop and those quilting drops that expire soon. I now filter MASSdrop email into SPAM. I stop by occasionally and purchase fewer drops because I find the emails a waste of my time. The post to which you responded was perhaps after 5 or 6 polite requests not be sent drop notices for other communities drops, in particular weapons. A quick glace through the SPAM messages reveal more than 75% of the items were for the weapons and gaming communities, some makeup, some cooking, some camping, and very few quilting. I feel unheard as a consumer rather than "misguided." If _you_ choose to receive off-topic emails about items that are several standard deviations away your subscribed communities, enjoy.
