Portable headphones make no sense. IEM and CIEM are superior in every aspect. Come at me

TheTerriblePuddleOK, challenge accepted. Soundstage. Imaging. Flamboyance (not condoning, merely pointing an argument). Everything has its perks. No need for haterape.
m425IEM's and CIEM's most often are on par with closed back headphones (because open aren't portable) in soundstage and often beats them in imaging. It's only when closed backs aren't really closed, but a bit semi-open that they excel in those two perks.

TheTerriblePuddleYou could give an example. I do like good set of IEMs. Your opinions and list, say, under 50, under 120, under 200, 300..... Share your knowledge, put it on HeadFi, Id love to read it. And don't rush it, there aren't many well argumented texts on this topic. And I looked. As you noticed, theres a preconception of IEMs existence only for monitoring sound.

TheTerriblePuddleCost/performance favors over ear pretty heavily in the high end. Also durability, killed off quite a bit of $$$$ in IEMs lol

TheTerriblePuddlePerhaps sensitive ear canals or unideal ear shapes which cause iems to slip out?

Thinksound really enjoys my constant business lol. Though I finally bit the bullet and got some CA Vegas and they are getting more use around my house than I'd care to admit.
