Anne PRO's on eBay - Worth the Risk?

more_vert
So eBay seems to have some deals on new Anne PRO boards that are half price compared to local (UK) vendors. These are from Hong Kong with free shipping. What's the deal with these - are they knock-offs?

One example of many: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Anne-PRO-Wireless-Bluetooth-RGB-Mechanical-Gaming-Keyboard-APP-Control-Light/201926784393?hash=item2f03c63589:g:60IAAOSwcgNZNSUj

I ordered one from banggood and one from aliexpress. Both were around $60 and though the shipping from China took a while (3-4 weeks), other than that they were completely fine. I suppose that's going to be the same case for those Chinese eBay vendors.

I just got mine in the mail. Besides being super Chinese and difficult to get the app and windows installation for, it seems to work great! Edit: I would up giving my Anne away. It was junk. Bluetooth would randomly disconnect. I tried all the different firmwares with varying degrees of success. Sometimes the lights would stop working. Sometimes it would stop responding to inputs. But the Bluetooth would stop working fairly consistently. Also there's no off switch? Lol.

Mine came with nothing in the box but the keyboard. I had to look on the anne pro subreddit for downloads. Also lol wtf the software is a store app that isn't even in the windows store so you have to have to enable developer mode and side load it.
