Q: Which flashlight gets you the best bang for your buck? A: The Convoy S2/S2+. They are cheap but well built. They are bright (about 1000 lumens). Thanks to the 18650 battery they last a lot. Flashlight enthusiast swear by it.
Q: What kind of flashlight should I take when I go camping? A: Something with a balanced throw/flood. Think of right angle flashlights that can also be used as headlamps. Zebralight H600w and Olight H2R Nova are solid choices.
Q: What’s the best flashlight for emergencies? A: While answers can vary, it's a good practice to have a few lights around your home/office/car. The goal here is to not be caught with your pants down. Carrying a light in your EDC is a solid step. Other would be to have small keychain lights like the Nitecore Tube, in places like your nightstand, desk, kitchen, bathroom, glove box, etc. Also, if you feeling it, have a super powerful light (4000+ Lumens), just in case you have to do some heavy searching, anyways, 300-1000 are more than enough. And last, but not least, it's highly advised to use 18650 batteries over AA and AAA since they hold charge a hell longer, so you won't need to replace them soon.

FerriusI agree with S2, S2+ I have 3 of them with different specs but they are an incredible all round light for $20 (sometimes $10-$15 depending on sales)
