So many divers in a dress watch thread, kind of odd. In my mind a dress watch should have an unmarked bezel, thin, and no more than 40mm. Some say no more than 38, but I've found those to look comically small on my wrist.
Something like the Nomos Lugwig, or SARX019. https://nomos-glashuette.com/media/image/ba/5d/b2/1024xauto-q80/234-235-ludwig-38-3d-front.jpg

KethUnfortunately the common theme is that they should never be larger than 42mm, but on my 8.25" wrists, even 42mm looks too small to me. I don't have any watch that I consider a true dress watch. I do wear a 42mm watch - a cheap Fossil, and my first watch. I'm left with most only Pilot styles to choose from.
I found a Bulova Precisionist, which comes in at around 46mm, which I really like, but it is a deep case, so it doesn't slide under a cuff very easily.
Nomos' style is something I really appreciate, and the Seiko you posted also is awesome! I really wish they came a bit bigger though.

Thank you very much! I was of the impression that the Hamiltons were all too expensive for me, but I must have been looking at some other lines - the Jazzmaster line looks great, and would be something worth saving up for. Many thanks! I really appreciate it. :)

aikilinkHamilton has become a great entry level Swiss watch. Even though I personally avoid Swatch Group, they make a solid watch.
