Recommendations for a DAC/tube AMP combo for HD 650?

Preferably under $200, but I am interested in hearing any recommendations for someone who is new to the audiophile community and will be receiving a HD 650 next month

Thanks for all the advice! I checked out the options you guys gave and will probably be going with the T1, I also really like the way it looks and that I can get it soon for a fairly good price from amazon.
Thanks again!!! :)
Modi and Magni, exactly 200$.
At that price point, the Aune T1 se will serve you well. https://www.massdrop.com/buy/aune-t1-se-headphone-amp

Agree, the T1 is the most enjoyable and versatile DAC/amp in this price range. Easily beating similarly priced ODAC/O2 and Modi/Magni.

I was looking for a new review of the T1 to post for bradl3y, and saw this old Headphonia Modi/Magni "review" , that rather humorously turns into a submarine attack for the T1; perhaps this best puts things to light (tube pun;). My plan is to get more as graduation gifts for my nieces and nephews to introduce them properly, so they can truly appreciate music, while starting on the better path forward from MP3 purgatory. The first one I got was for a niece paired with HD598se's,, she tried them on,, listened for a bit (great--he got me big headphones and a gadget...),, then her eyes popped and she exclaimed "this is different!" and reached for the volume knob... the MP3 cure...

Yes I did tinker with the T1, upgraded caps, but unless you are adept with folded space & compressed matter to fit them in, leave it alone, it sounds fine, roll a nice NOS 6922 Mullard instead. The silver for some reason is only $172: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01ALDNS1S/ref=s9_acsd_hps_bw_c_x_6_w?th=1
