Small things add up.

Hi All -
I thought it'd be good to get a new topic going related to the small stuff. There is an old post about the big 4, but there are lots of ways to save weight, and sharing the good and bad might be a great way for everyone to save some weight or avoid pitfalls for people just starting out. So what are some things you've found are good small ways to save weight? Whats something that you've done to save weight and you realized later "well....that was a terrible idea"? Maybe a couple ounces or even a lb?
Good: First aid kit - I quickly realized after my first camping experience that most first-aid kit stuff is really not needed. My first aid now just consists of a couple antibiotic wipes, Ibuprofen, and a small roll of paper tape. I have some duck tape on my poles if needed also. Easy weight and space saving.
Bad: Lighter shirt to sleep in instead of a merino - I thought it'd be a good idea to go with a synthetic shirt to sleep in since it was a bit lighter. I realized it just made me way less comfortable at night and I was really missing a soft shirt for sleeping. I know it's a tiny bit of weight, but I carry the soft merino shirt to sleep in.
