What is the point of taking photos of Porsches? You see them once and they all look the same. 1965 and 2016 are nearly identical. Totally overpriced and esthetically ugly!!
That's some fighting words.
Despite a rather evolutionary approach to the aesthetic design philosophy, I think there are unquestionably a lot of appeal in its nuance. Beyond the appearance, the intricacy of the mechanical engineering as well as the performance and handling of the cars are incredibly respectable vs. competition. They are certainly considered as one of the best sportscar manufacturers in the business.
Why do you think Porsche cars are overpriced? Any examples you care to share?
i'm trying my best not to insult you here...........
why do you think it's overpriced? porsche has spent the last century perfecting a rear engine, rear wheel drive sports car. they are the only ones in the world to do it for that long and actually be good at it.
one of the few supercars that can be daily driven unlike garage queens (ahem ferrari, lambo etc).
i drove a boxter S for 2 months back in the early 2000s. even if it was a lousy 220hp engine and the cheapest porsche, it still handled like a dream. i can only imagine what a 911 would feel like.
Ask any car enthusiast and i doubt there would be any porsche haters.
As far as design goes, i think it's timeless. they don't need to re-invent the wheel here. they have a classy design, they just evolve from it.
look at all benzes, audis, beemers, they all have the same basic design philosophy for the past century as well. It's more about the prestige and brand recognition when it comes to these vehicles.
If you don't mind me asking, what exactly are you driving at this moment?
