Monterey Car Week 2016 - The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering (Part 1/5)
As a petrolhead, Monterey Car Week is a week worth of car related events like no other. Including the one that just wrapped up a week ago, I've been attending Monterey Car Week annually for four years so far. Figured I'd share some of my pictures from the week along with some thoughts.
The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering
Of all the events that take place during the week, Quail is by far the one that I most look forward to each year. It's an event where you get to rub shoulders with celebrities, industry executives, racing legends, and renown car collectors. And the quality of cars on display have always been a few tiers above everyone else.
Here are several highlights for me this year.
The new Porsche 911R. The want is very strong with this one.
2016 marks the 50th anniversary for Lamborghini Miura. And what a proper way it was to celebrate it by having 25 cars in all the different variants available.
