New (old stock) Dell bigfoot (modded with Matias switches for alphas, remainder Black ALPS switches) and after hours of fighting with the install of the stabilizers, managed to get the LightCycle DSA (with Alps stems) on my Dell. This project is not for the faint of heart. Managed to ruin a few switches (thanks to the incredibly tight fit of the SP DSA alps stems on Matias switches) and running into all the known stabilizer issues when using SP DSA Alps keycaps). LightCycle comes with a stepped Caplock, but the stem was still off by about 1 mm, and needed stem surgery (not pretty). In any case my bigthanks for @evangs for the groupbuy that included Alps stem caps.

"thanks to the incredibly tight fit of the SP DSA alps stems on Matias switches" Found this out the hard way... Decided to test fit one of my Granite DSA caps on a Matias Quiet Click. I gave up trying to pull it off, I'm keeping it on until the rest of the parts arrive and then I'll see what kind of force is required.
TTheunsI feel your pain. I've decided the LightCycle keycaps are never coming off the keyboard as I suspect many will break off when pulled...

Wayne_Campbell_FanI'm glad I tried a keycap that I have more of. Imagine if I had tried a letter.

Art is paintings of horses and perfected mechanical keyboard setups. Do not change this art. It is too much art.

That set does not look like it would go with that board... But it doesn't look bad at all... Was that Keeb originally a mech or did you have to mod it to accept the mech switches? Any plans for backlighting? Would look pretty sweet with some ambient soft blue glow under those caps.
KM1337Thanks. Dell AT101W (bigfoot) I think dates back to 1990s, is one of the few mechanical keyboards Dell sold (included) with their computers. It came with ALPs black mechanical switches. I pulled a good number of the black Alps and soldered in the Matias switch, so not a major mod. I have a collection of old ALPs switch based mechanical boards, and this Dell is the closest to a modern layout (old Alps keyboards have odd space bars and enter keys etc). Custom keycaps for Alps keyboards rarely happen. Signature Plastic only makes Alps caps in DSA format, so when I saw LightCycle with Alps stems in a groupbuy, I had to get one. No plans for any lighting.
