i thought about that and ditching the K-Type but I don't know I really like mine and once I got the lighting programmed which was a PITA. I don't think I could get any other board looking the same. Right now its programmed in a miami nights theme so I have Alpha's Teal Blue, Mods Neon Pink, I have Under lighting on the two sides lit yellow. The rest of the under lighting is animated wave that does Neon Pink and Teal Blue Alternating. Then when you type it lights up the key you pressed as yellow.

DhairisHonestly I wish I knew exactly what I did to get it to work. Took me like 100 try's + to get it work. The way I wanted. I think the software is buggy cause a lot of the times it would just screw up the lighting causing it to flash and do strange things. There also some bugs with the LED's. Sadly I am not 100% sure but I think the K-Type might be abandoned by input club as the last firmware release was in December.. and they pretty much ignore there forms. Also looks like they have moved on to other projects sooo =/.. yea best advice I can give is just play around with the lighting.. Hope that it works and doesn't bug.

This is the worst photo I have ever taken. It looks deep fried. I will try to get a better one sometime.

How do you do per-key RGB lighting on a Shift V2?
I saw the online configurator that lets you do this on the Shift V1, where it spits out a compiled firmware file to flash. The V2 doesn't seem to have this function in the Windows configurator, though. I can't imagine the answer here is "you're going to have to manually write the hex for every key in QMK, compile it, and flash that".
