Wrist Check

more_vert
Going retro today. Late 70 or early 80s Le Jour. The original metal band is decked. Still trying to find a replacement so excuse the funky color NATO. The only thing I have in 18 mm.

Have you tried the black label from crown and buckle? Some of those would look amazing on it and I think they have 18mm. But if you are looking for natos, I think they have them as well. For this piece I would go with crownandbuckle.com and bandrbands.com

kpjimmy I checked out their 18 mm but it tapers to 16 mm. The watch is too big for that I think. The original metal band has stepped end links so goes from the 18mm lugs to about 22 mm then tappers to 20 mm. If I was brave enough I would opt for a 22 and notch it but I do not think I am that brave.

dintymaThis is where I go to my pal at cloverstraps.com and get a custom one made. Great excuse to see what he can do :).

Look at those sexy patina'd markers. I have weak spots for all vintage pieces with patinas lol.
