Meant to post this a couple of days ago but I forgot. This is my 1971 King Seiko (Model 5246-5010). It's a hi-beat, meaning 28,800 bph. Still keeps great time and the 35mm case wears very light but has the wrist presence more like a 37 or 38mm because of the square shape. It's the perfect dress watch for my shrimpy wrists. It's also much thinner than most new automatics made by Seiko.

Always love a classic mechanical watch. Nice.

Thanks!
Another cool thing about this movement that I forgot to mention is that the day and date snap to the next day instantly rather than gradually change over, which is a novel feature even today, let alone during the era in which this watch was released.
That's a Seiko King Awesome! Nice show.....
