There Are Pandas, and Then There Are Pandas.
And this isn't either of them! The Pandas we're talking about here, are watches, not bears. And what got me thinking about them (again) was a link posted this morning by @cm.rook who pointed a few of us to the very attractive (and not terribly priced) Yema "Rallygraph" Panda which, in it's most traditional arrangement, looks like the one on the left, but can also be had in the version on the right: The model on the left is a true Panda, while the model on the right is called a reverse Panda. The reason for that distinction is clear--Panda bears, only come in the first arrangement. This Onsa timepiece I have on is hand-wound and 38mm from 1960s. Onsa, correct me if I'm wrong, is a defunct Swiss manufacturer but are trying to make a comeback.
As for this one, and especially for this one, I can see a nice bomber jacket look to it on leather. Is the lug width 18mm? For a 34mm, that'd be my guess.
I can suggest crown and buckle and band r bands for looking for specific sizes based on the lugs. Then you can venture if you want to do some custom band work with someone like my buddy at cloverstraps.com, which is totally not expensive at all for handmade work. Martu bands are great to deal with as well. Good luck! I'd have a field day with this one racking my head in what to match this with.
Awesome piece! Wear in good health!
