I'm 25 and has been educating myself about watches for about 3 years now. As I dive in deeper in the watch world, I started to prefer mechanical movements that are no bigger than 40mm. Most modern watches are quite the opposite of my criteria. So naturally I started to gravitate towards vintage watches.
This Onsa timepiece I have on is hand-wound and 38mm from 1960s. Onsa, correct me if I'm wrong, is a defunct Swiss manufacturer but are trying to make a comeback.

This is a Croton that I recently purchased at a pawn shop. Manual winding, 34mm from the 1940s I believe. Looking to include it in the rotation. I'm taking suggestions on what strap to slap on this one.

jpdidVintages are awesome! Yours is no different. A fab looking piece that companies are touching like some micros and seikos.
As for this one, and especially for this one, I can see a nice bomber jacket look to it on leather. Is the lug width 18mm? For a 34mm, that'd be my guess.
I can suggest crown and buckle and band r bands for looking for specific sizes based on the lugs. Then you can venture if you want to do some custom band work with someone like my buddy at cloverstraps.com, which is totally not expensive at all for handmade work. Martu bands are great to deal with as well. Good luck! I'd have a field day with this one racking my head in what to match this with.
Awesome piece! Wear in good health!
