Wrist Check

Today I dug out my 1950's vintage Zodiac Retographic Strong Oroplaque Excelente. I bought it used on eBay last year. The crystal and case has plenty of ware and I replaced the band with the one pictured. It runs kinda slow loosing almost 2mins by the end of the day but considering the age of this watch I'm happy that it runs at all. The face beneath the crystal has faded nicely, I'm sure it's drastically different now than its original color. I'm considering having the crystal buffed-out in hopes of getting a better view of the dial but if buffing won't improve it, I'll have it replaced. I had considered having the watch tuned up to improve its accuracy but I only use this watch occasionally so it's slightly poor timekeeping is not too big of an issue.
