Wrist Check

more_vert
Todays wrist-check is my Bulova Waterproof Swiss Manual.

I have a slight taste for simple looking casual watches from the mid 1960’s, and 70’s - the no nonsense type of watch that an average office supervisor would ware daily. I went on the hunt for a few vintage Timex watches a few years ago and stumbled across this $20 used Bulova in pretty good shape. After I bought it I searched the internet for information on this watch but could only find little bits of info scattered across a few sites, so I don’t know much about it….bummer.

Either way I love the simple look of this watch and others like it. It’s clean, efficient and offers “no nonsense” time telling. A new black leather strap with another stainless steel push button butterfly deployment clasp was added to this watch - I think that was a good move.

Very nice. I wish I could pull off a watch that size. Really nice, simple and elegant.
