Gaming level laptops
Why don't we actually get massdrop to offer gaming level laptops for sale? I personally have the new HP Notebook with an AMD A8-7410 processor that has 6GB of RAM and a pretty impressive architecture. I can run Supreme Commander at it's highest settings, 80% load at about 45-60FPS. On the flipside though I've found that Space Engineers whilst being optimized recently to vastly improve framerate due to being able to skip atmos calculations now with the option to disable airtightness does suffer from extremely long load and compute times on this machine. I love this machine to death and while it isn't the level of machine I would be talking about offering, it's a good one just to use for an example. No, the ones I'd be looking at massdropping would be models with maybe 8-10 or even 12 GB of RAM and most likely high-end APUs or CPU/GPU combinations with nice specs across the board in order for people to at least get their hands on these machines and try them out to write reviews for Massdrop and the manufacturers. People deserve to get their hands on some really good hardware for a lowered price, and I believe that Massdrop might be a good gateway for doing so.

Great, especially now that the RTX cards are coming out. Should be able to get some good ones with inventory clean outs with the GTX cards.

Spyderco dragonfly 2 Drop exclusive?
I would LOVE to have a Spyderco dragonfly 2 Drop exclusive on one of the most iconic model in Spyderco. Maybe like the super gold steel that drop did with delica. The color on the scale can be the drop color. That will be awesome! Picture is me dragonfly collections in various color and steels

Completely surprised by the lack of blade diversity here on Drop...
I’ve been a collector of Blades since before my teens, and a retailer coming up on 15… or maybe 20 years. Drop has really been kind of an interesting experience for me, because I do occasionally get to see some unusual tech and sometimes EDC items that otherwise I might not have been aware of. And maybe it’s because I have a deep love of cutlery and bladed weapons, but I find myself trolling through the site looking at it what’s available; and it’s just it’s pretty much the same. And the bladed community here is just always confused me.. every single knife is about the same, they’re almost all drop points and although the handle materials change and brands change.. it’s really just the same knife over and over and over again... occasionally you’ll see a tanto or a slight variant; but rarely… and almost never a serrated blade. Would be nice to see some Sony E mount full frame cameras on here. I currently shoot with a A99 and they killed the lense path for better or more option lenses and now is all E-Mount. 🤔
