Todays wrist-check is my favorite Invicta, the Grand Diver 10640 Automatic.

Of all my Invicta’s this is the one I love the most. I don’t ware it as much these days but I really enjoy having it on when it comes up in the rotation. The overall case size is 47mm which perfect for me considering plenty of Invicta’s are checking in at 50mm which I find too big for me. The egg yoke yellow hour markers and hands play well with the white dial, it’s a great combo. The bracelet has plenty of sparkle & shine to catch the eye of anyone nearby - solid links too!

The best feature on this watch is the 100% full lume on the dial. Once charged up the complete dial glows blue…Sweet! But wait, there’s more! The hands, tip of the sweeping seconds hand, and 60min mark on the rotating bezel all glow with a yellowish-green lume to complement the blue lume of the dial…Awesome!

The lume dies down by about 60% after about 15mins but can still be seen almost 2hrs later. My only real complaint about this watch is the flatness of the bezel, it’s hard to grasp and turn - it’s too flat and unusable. Lot’s of Invicta watches use this same bezel design….it kinda sucks. Either way I love this watch, in fact I bought it’s evil twin which I’ll strap on tomorrow….stay tuned!
