Wrist Check

more_vert
Todays wrist-check is an oversized beast of a watch, my Invicta Lupah Chronograph 14199.

While looking for a used Invicta Lupah I stumbled upon this and couldn’t resist. This may be the biggest watch I own, sitting high on my wrist with a case thickness of 22mm and coming in at 11oz in weight. It’s a bold piece with ton’s of polished stainless steel on both the case and solid bracelet links.

This watch is heavy on the wrist, but its not uncomfortable at all - it’s got pretty good balance. I only have one sour point to make with this watch and thats the dome crystal skewing the view of the dial when looking at it from an off axis angle - the dial completely disappears….wow!

It’s a sure bet that I will never buy another watch this big again, but I’m glad I own this one.

Randy after this week I'm starting to think you are single-handedly keeping Invicta in business!

That is a beast of a watch. I have an Aragon Parma that's 48mm but it's only 17mm thick. But it's also heavy and I'll have to weigh it to see how it compares. I know it's heavy on the wrist but I don't mind either.
