Wrist Check

more_vert
Louis Erard w an ETA 2824, date (and done right by using a black date wheel with a white number).
Stainless w copper applied numerals and hour indecies.
dial has nice thought/detail, done in flat black vs gloss or sunbursty, gives the hands and hour marks more pop /contrast
35 mm x 35 mm case but wears larger due to the coverage by the diagonal (generally smaller square watches have this effect because of the diagonal corner to corner coverage, think along how modern TV's are advertised by size by the diagonal measurement).
I generally really like most to all the designs they put out. Small/independent (if what I read was right), only do automatics, really good quality to price point.

Very elegant watch. I've never heard of the brand but that looks like a quality watch.

PetrosDIt definately punches above its weight class. They are worth exploring. Handsome designs, and great value prop in a marketplace crowded w brands that offer garbage worth maybe 1/3 of what they ask for http://gevrilgroup.com/louis-erard-watches/
Fyi some of the moonohase day date calendar designs are stunning, i might have to reach that way when it is time to add that complication to the box

Danbo_de_PianoI am very intrigued and will do some homework. Thanks for sharing. They seem to have some very nice watches. I'm still looking for a moon phase that hits all the marks. This one looks pretty good.
