Wrist Check

Todays Wrist-Check brings the last of the Hilfiger’s. It’s my Tommy Hilfiger model 1791102

I think this was my first Tommy Hilfiger watch, I remember being attracted to the little red white & blue logo after seeing it on the pages of many GQ magazines. Hilfiger, yes a fashion watch but the Hilfiger line of watches did manage to release some really nice watches and I think this is one of them.

The pale cream dial speckled with numerals and hour markers that all have a blue tint to them only visible then the watch is at a certain angle…cool. The unexplained dark section on the bezel between the 35min and 45min markers….questions! the hollowed-out red arrow on the sweeping seconds hand. and for sure the 4o’Clock date window….yes, I’ll take it all! the only downside is the fake band - why fossil, why?

Either way the band will eventually get tossed in favor of something nice and this watch will finally move of the ranks on the wrist time chart.
