There Are Pandas, and Then There Are Pandas.
And this isn't either of them! The Pandas we're talking about here, are watches, not bears. And what got me thinking about them (again) was a link posted this morning by @cm.rook who pointed a few of us to the very attractive (and not terribly priced) Yema "Rallygraph" Panda which, in it's most traditional arrangement, looks like the one on the left, but can also be had in the version on the right: The model on the left is a true Panda, while the model on the right is called a reverse Panda. This is 1 of 2 watches given to me on my birthday (yesterday), it has extended my growing work watch collection. The Pulsar PHX722 is not a bad looking watch as it falls in line with all my other black dial divers. As I retire my current Super ILLUMINATOR Casio at years end, this watch will fit the bill nicely with its unidirectional bezel, polished stainless steel case and Seiko movement. The cheap rubber strap was tossed into my box of forgot straps within an hour of unwrapping this gift - a Bond-style nato Strap was waiting in the wings. This watch like many before it will receive plenty of scratches, scars, and nicks but not to worry because theses are badges of a warrior - this is it’s destiny.
