Wrist Check

More of a pocket check. This Elgin was my grandfather's, circa 1906. He graduated from West Point in 1900, worked for MacArthur, retired a General and gave this to my dad, who gave it to me. We buried Dad at Arlington yesterday, this was in my pocket. I also have a Universal Geneve Tri-Compax that dad bought at the PX in Germany in 1946 after the war. That's for another wrist check.

I am sorry for your loss. From the sound of it, both your father and grandfather served with honor and went on to the next life with their heads held high.
I'm glad you have something so elegant to remember them by.

My condolences for your Dad. May his memory be eternal. Nice touch to have that in your pocket. I look forward you seeing the UG.
