This morning I'm wearing the Parnis "Portuguese". This is one that will definitely get wrist time.
It's 43 X 13mm, 316 SS cut from a block, not injection molded, Hardlex crystal and back cover, brushed sides with polished bezel front and back. Inside is the premium Seagull ST-2542, an excellent movement on par with the basic ETAs . The strap is functional and quite comfortable although I'll probably try it out on a bracelet or nato later. So much bang for the buck. Here's a good article on this model: http://www.asian-watches.com/2015/02/parnis-chronometer-with-bilateral.html
Pardon the photo album, wanted you to get a good look..(-;

Of course the watch damn looking good. I checked their site, who are these fellows, they have copy for almost all premium watches..how about their quality as the price is cheaper.

Check the two links I left in my posts, it explains everything about Parnis. They are not copies, nor homages, but they took inspiration from old classic designs long out of copyright limits.
I might have to pick up one of these for myself. I've seen them on eBay but always thought I should wait for a review.
Mind linking me where you bought this?

If you're old enough to remember, there was a time when Made in Japan was akin to junk. But both quality and perception of quality improved to where Japanese brands are highly regarded, as much or more as venerable European brands. Same with Korea. Remember when Hyundai first started selling cars in the US? They were crap. Now look at them. Same thing with the Chinese. I personally am still wary of certain Chinese products, especially anything that is, or relates to, food as I do not trust their adherence to fix safety standards (glazes on ceramic and porcelain ware could contain lead or other harmful products that can leach into food). But when it comes to hard goods like a watch, their quality is improving and can be very competitive.

Agreed, and yes, I am that old..(-; Happy Holidays!
That's a great looking watch. Nice that it came with a deployant clasp.

I have this watch and it looks awesome on the Steinhart blue shark strap!

For sure, that is a beautiful combo, I'll be trying some different straps soon. It's such a classic looking watch that it should go well with many different kinds.

It's kind of an IWC Portuguese chronograph looking watch. Since 98 percent of Portugueses are counterfeit, this is probably the better choice.
