Believe it or not, this website, which may not be trustworthy, and which obviously has a horse in the game, claims that there are counterfeit Seagull watches out there.

But on the other hand, there's a bit of Schadenfreude in seeing Chinese companies getting their products pirated.

CloacaYes, a fake replica is also an interesting claim, since a replica is, well, "fake" by its very nature. Supposedly the replicas have Seagull movements, and mine doesn't have a display caseback, so it may truly be a fake. One day I'll remove the back and check, but I didn't spend a huge amount on it and love the look and the accuracy is good, so for now I'm very happy 😁. Cheers!
