My pops had this watch with a blue dial, but he wore it to death (the watch itself, not my father). I didn't realize it was such a nice pece because I'd always seen it in such beat up condition. Still works though

AvionNDVRThe blue dial is really beautiful. These watches are a bargain besides being very well made, and cost about half of what the Glycine Combat Chronograph here on MD did, while both have practically the same Swiss movement. They are no longer made so grab one when you can...(-;

GugliermoActually, I took another look at my pops watch, his is an Accutron while you're is accu_swiss. Virtually the same watch though, but prices are totally different.

AvionNDVRSome of the Accutrons were automatics as well with Swiss movements, but I think if it was an Accutron Chronograph it is probably a quartz watch.....unless it says Swiss made.....(-; They had a confusing name usage there for a while till they dropped "Accutron" from all automatics.

GugliermoIt's definitely an automatic, has a display caseback. I actually just read about that naming scheme thing you just mentioned. Pretty weird stuff lol, accuracy based on electronics = Accutron, used even on automatics like you said.

GugliermoI have one of the last accutron Kirkwood chronos, and it's valjoux 7750 based, and the rebranding to accu swiss used Selita and w chrono autos as well.given swatch group restricting eta movements. Both auto chronos are well made elegant watches w solid innards 😀
