Didn't even know this was a thing. Looks like it would be for mtn biking so how does it do with all the bouncing around? Is it pretty stable?

AlexPkBecause of the way they are mounted, you should really pack your heaviest items near the seatpost, and let the bulky, but less dense items (like your quilt/sleeping bag) cantilever out past the back of your seat. That will help make sure that they ride well with loads.
These bags are often used for multi-day offroad rides, where having things hanging off panniers may result in them getting scraped/beaten up. And these bags also don't need racks, so there is a weight benefit (albeit minor) involved.

AlexPkMy Porcelain Rocket Mr Fusion v2 is rock sold but then that is why I went with it; its reputation :) Having just completed four days on the Holland Track here in Western Australia (pretty rough, remote 4WD track) the Mr Fusion V2 has justified the dollars without a doubt.
