Wrist Check

Well, in a fit of insanity, I sold my Glashutte Original Senator chronograph. Sad to box it up since it was my first "high end" watch. The replacement will be well loved once it gets here but the first will always hold a place in my heart. Since I put the gator strap back on the GO, the suede strap I just bought for it had to go somewhere. :-)

I'm just realizing this is an SLA017 if I am not mistaken.

I've been on the fence about the modern tributes to the 62MAS, particularly the one with the blue sunburst finish (SBDCO53).

Vintage1982BenzThe SLA017 is a wonderful time piece. I'll readily admit a bit pricey for "just a Seiko" at full retail though. ;-)
brminpinBetter than the second hand market, they now sell for Grand Seiko prices.
Looks good on the Seiko!
What did you get as a replacement? Why sell the Glashutte? Not getting any time on the wrist?

WUS if you have high dollar watches and have enough posts. I generally avoid eBay. I also belong to non-watch forums that have classified sections.
I know we've exchanged a couple notes about online retailers - wanted to tack this on here to see if anyone has experience with them either buying or selling.
