Buckling spring keyboard designed by the community MX sliders for topre Topre molds made for topre custom keycaps Aluminum 96 custom. These come to mind for sure. EDIT: Of course I really want to see a Aluminum custom Realforce 87U keyboard case. A custom TKL keyboard with a optional numpad that can be connected to the TKL on either side. Bluetooth Whitefox Topre 1800 (Leopold) Full Case 101/104 (like Filco) but custom aluminum Realforce custom cables Custom art wrist wrest TKL with trackpoint mouse (Yoda)

JediDamn, all fantastic ideas. Thank you!
The buckling spring keyboards by the community would the the hardest I think. Ellipse obviously has already just made the Model F's from the ground up, and we all could see what a process that was. On the other side those modular BS switches on kickstarter looked quite awful. I wouldn't consider that to ever be an option. IBM originally set out to get the hysteresis exactly where they wanted it, and a happy benefit of what they decided on was a fantastic feeling switch. I don't really think that is a switch we can really scale down and have anything that resembles the feel most of us are very familiar with.
MX Sliders for Topre on their own, is an obvious choice. I've been bugging them to jump on this for ages now. Obvious move for sure.
These molds may be expensive (and Im not sure if anyone can legally copy the Topre profile, I hope so), but yeah, someone with the ability to make real Topre custom sets in Topre profile would be amazing. We just wont ever get that from Topre. Maybe Gateron or someone can step up to the plate there. I'm definitely NEVER going to swap MX sliders for my Topre sliders, it does change the feel and I am a huge fan of the Topre profile.
And yes, PLEASE drop the RS96. Please.

JediFirst and last options (BS kb and TKL with trackpoint) are great ideas. Or just more trackpoint keyboards period. It is so good for smaller 60-75% AND fuller sized keyboards, and I think a lot of Thinkpad fans would get interested in mechs.
