I'm not a big headphone modder, but I do agree that owning a Dayton IMM-6 is a great move for budding audiophiles. I keep one in my gear bag and use it (along with a homemade coupler) with the iOS AudioTools app to capture quick n dirty FR graphs for new IEM. The AudioTools app also lets you compare multiple FR graphs, normalizing them at 1kHz. Very handy!
