https://github.com/ezmac/tmk_keyboard/blob/master/keyboard/ergodox/keymap_ezmac.h This is as close as I have to a picture of the layout. Based logically on the Blueshift layout; software forked from cub-uanic's fork of TMK. Runs on a drop 2 version of the original ergodox with blues. I've got a dox infinity lying around with browns. Does anyone know of a fork of tmk that works on both halves or an alternate firmware that can do layer shifts and/or custom functions?

I have a layout based on (but not identical to) https://github.com/stevensurgnier/imedox . I would like to get it into the Infinity Ergodox configurator, which can load JSON. I tried cut-and-pasting the contents of my right/compile_commands.json and left/compile_commands.json, but this resulted in a blank layout (no keys shown). I guess these files were not what the Infinity Ergodox configurator needs. Is there an automated way to get from what I have to what I can upload to the configurator?

My infinity ergodox is running the firmware I got from the GitHub repo, which is based on the kiibohd controller firmware. The JSON output by the build system in this package apparently is not understood by the import map feature of the Ergodox Configurator (I tried). I guess the JSON tree is just not related.
I'm reading the sources of the kiibohd controller and imedox, but it looks like I have a ways to go before I understand enough to develop what I want.

mzipfHere is layer 2, I may "none" out the top row as I would rather not miss click on it when accessing symbols

My first ergodox layout. Attempting to keep a bunch of natural inclinations from 35 years of qwerty... I'll point out a neat trick though it sometimes confuses the software: one LOCK key, that toggles layer lock for the layer it's hit on. You can wind up a stack and reverse out of it by hitting it again and again. f2 also reverses the cursor arrow keys though I wish I could have it switch the direction of a held cursor key like shift did on my first keyboard (VIC-20!)

SifakaMonOK now my fourth iteration... Continue to strive to get key placement to fit my mental model and not stray far from my inclinations from normal keyboards, I have reached this variation which keeps certain punctuation keys where I can easily remember them. I replaced the inner 1.5U keys with regular 1U Y and B though not H because I found myself always hitting the top edge of the H key. I will probably go back to 1.5U unprinted after I get used to this...

is there a way to set up space cadet shift keys? Where tapping shift will produce "(" or ")"

jceaserI recommend asking this question on github, you may get an answer there or a forked repo with the solution if you are lucky.

@kunalkumar and @alexpeterkin
This weekend I finally made some time to build my Ergodox Infinity as an upgrade to an original Ergodox. Wonderful board, thanks! I also received the Jukebox keycaps which assumes a different layout than I'm currently using. Because of that I was looking for layout inspiration and Ergodox owners tend to share links to the Massdrop Configurator to share layouts. These links look like:
https://www.massdrop.com/ext/ergodox/?referer=DEUFK5&hash=b68db89f9e9e143b6c7473e4d1426ef5
But they seem to have stopped working. They all give me a blank/default Ergodox layout. Is this a known bug? Is it possible to fix this? Because of this error there are a LOT of not working links out there.
The fix for this is out and the links should be working now. Thank you!

https://imgur.com/fPX3svY That's mine. It's pretty standard, I think, with the exception that the backslash and backspace are swapped.

Unfortunately, I now use too many layers to be able to easily show my layout using graphical representations. If anyone wants to dig through my KLL files and try to put them together, they are available on github at adamsaj/kllLayouts.

I've been iterating on this layout for a while, and I'm pretty happy with it. KLE link for those interested: http://www.keyboard-layout-editor.com/#/gists/3b62baedcd2bd9052288

arithonCould you maybe post the JSON for this so that it can be put into the Input Club configurator? This looks great!

It's not *exactly* the same, but it should be close enough to get you started! :)
