Great looking Tank out of the lot that are out there.
Love the markers and hands on that piece. Can I ask which website you got that from? I've been looking at the Amphibian for a while.

Thanks but this is a LTD edition project watch. Thus sold out now. You probably can get it on the secondary market but probably not at my price point.
No tanks or scuba diver with a spear or red star or 👩‍🚀 cosmonaut or ☭ hammer and sickle? You call this a Russian watch? 🙄

That's what the dial says... so yeah, it's a Russian watch. I like scubadude, but for the design, it's a great project watch. Great color combos and classic case. It's a win especially at 150 USD.
Welcome to the wobbly crown club! Lol

LOL yep! It's like a loose tooth!
Great project! Was the partially raised dial an original feature? I see you put a seiko-style bezel which fits the watch perfectly but the dial... I can't recognize it. I like to use Vostok Partner dials, they usually look better than originals and fit any standard Vostok caliber.

The central part of a dial with "Сделано в России" (Made in Russia) looks authentic and original. The raised part with white/orange indexes looks like an mod add-on. BTW there is no difference between Vostoks made during USSR and those which were made later after USSR collapse except the price. The real authentic Soviet Vostoks all marked with "Made in USSR" or "Сделано в СССР" writings. These watches could be very expensive due to their collector's value and some have great history. The most expensive Vostok Komandirsike was sold on e-bay for $2100.00. This watch belonged to the Spetsnaz operator, who was involved in 1979 attack on president's palace in Afghanistan. He used this watch in operation "Storm-333" which resulted in overthrowing Khaphisullah Amin - a then-president of Afghanistan. Watches made after 1994 were marked with "Made in Russia" or "Сделано в России" and usually cheap and affordable.
Awesome info! The project was run through Meranom. They supplied the parts and shipped when the units were completed. That's all I know lol.
Wow, that is beautifully done!

that's a great looking watch. So it's modded, not stock?

It's a special edition Watchuseek project that began in 2016. Got shelved and rebooted this year. It's a community voted watch. So it's really an homage though. But love the result.
