So far, I take a liking o the Palomino KUM Blackwing two-step sharpener - I have tried many that are difficult in the hand and leave an unfinished, clean sharp lead. I read somewhere that a sharpener for eyeliner makeup is excellent for wood pencils. Something to do with the blades being sharper for the eyeliner pencils ?? I never remember this when I am in the store, as I don't use eye liner. I am curious if anyone has tried this and what their experience is ?? As for the pencils, I have such an assortment from the years... including old ones from my father's art supplies, and some found in the bottoms of boxes from antique shops and the like. I should make a list of the ones I tend to grab first. Good question !
